First of all, actually, you don’t need to panic, because there is nothing to be worried about in this email. It does not affect your earnings. And also, not harmful to the Google AdSense account. Your AdSense account still remains safe as it was before.

Your payments account “Google AdSense” for Google AdSense was recently canceled.
“If your balance is greater than $10.00, you’ll receive your final payment from the canceled payments account during the next cycle. Any payments less than $10.00 won’t be processed. Any other active payments account associated with Google AdSense will not be affected.“
This email has been received for the monetization-enabled YouTube channel accounts. If you are using AdSense only for YouTube, and don’t get earnings from any other way such as AdMob or Google AdSense revenue for your AdSense-integrated Websites/Blogsites, you may have already received this email saying “A payments account was canceled”.

If you are going to your Google AdSense account and check ‘Payments info’ under the Payments section, you can see what has happened.
The usual ‘AdSense’ account is closed and there is a brand-new YouTube payment account that will essentially transfer all your AdSense data into that new account. Apparently, they are splitting up AdSense and YouTube separately now to make things more convenient, or whatever they want to do.
According to Google Support, as part of the new payment user interface, they have canceled AdSense profiles for publishers who don’t need them (those who are only using their AdSense for their YouTube channel, and who don’t have another product like AdSense or AdMob).
So, your YouTube payment profile remains active, and you can continue using it for your channel’s monetization as normal. That means the cancellation only affects the AdSense payment profile, not the YouTube one. You can find more information about the payment profiles on their Help Center.
